Tour Summary
This short tour shows you the magnificent country side of Ethiopia, the landscapes and generally nature. You will visit the hot springs, the lakes etc. You also get to met the Afar and the Kereyou people and interact with them as they go about their daily activities.

Itinerary:
Day 1: Addis Ababa – Dire Dawa - Harar
Fly Dire Dawa; short visit of the town and then drive to Harar. Lunch. Afternoon visit of Harar: the markets, mosques, city walls, the French poet Rimbaud’s old house, typical Adere people house, the basket production, and more. Overnight at a hotel in Hara.
Day 2: Harar
Morning excursion to Babile, the valley of marvels. Afternoon remaining visits in Harar and visit of Sofi, for very interesting typical settlements, Harari people culture and very nice vegetation and views. Overnight in Harar Hotel of Sofi.
Day 3: Harar - Awash
Drive to Awash Nat. Park. Visit Afar people villages and hot springs, different animals. Overnight at a campsite in Awash park, or Bugget D’Awash/Elen hotel.
Day 4: Awash – Addis Ababa
Morning visit the Awash park: You see a variety of wild animals, the Awash river falls, the river gorge. Cross over to Metahara lake and on the way visit the Kereyou people. Then drive back Addis Ababa. Departure (or next day)
